We have listened to our customer’s comments over the last few years and made the heater even better than before! The main improvements are the element, the wattage, thermostat location, and most importantly, we have incorporated a fan. The element is a 300 watt PTC heater. The same technology used to heat your vehicle. Why? A PTC heater has some very fine, unique qualities, but the main reason is because it fits perfect with our fan. It simply enables us to put out more than twice as much heat without changing the size of the unit. It is rated for 50,000+ hours! (replaceable) Why 300 watts? In our 2+ years of testing, we found this wattage to be the most efficient for small to extremely large houses (75 cu. ft). We know our product is becoming more popular for more than just dog houses and it now can heat those larger spaces, very, very safely. We have moved the thermostat to the top. This enables the user to adjust the Hound Heater more precisely and easily. Our filtered fan is rated for 30,000 hours, extremely quiet (less than 15 decibels) and does a fantastic job at distributing the warm, dry air into the pet’s house. (replaceable) The Hound Heater Pet House Furnace PLUS is appropriately insulated to prevent any burn and can warm up to 75 cubic feet (1.6522 m3) of an insulated dog house or enclosure with a door.
