The Dog House Deli is a local Pensacola hot dog joint that has been serving the community for years. Originally opened in 1977 by Jim Holler, it is a family business that has expanded over the decades. Today, the Hollers are proud to carry on their family legacy and offer a variety of traditional hot dogs, as well as more modern deli dishes. They also have a catering service and are able to provide pet care.
In 2009, the Dog House Pensacola Beach location opened. This was a great opportunity for the brand, but it also faced some challenges. When the 2014 flood hit the area, major renovations were needed, and the location also faced a serious oil spill in 2010. Fortunately, the Pensacola Beach location recovered from the damage and is back open.
In addition to the deli, Lulani’s Shave Ice & Dog House has also been a staple in the Mobile, AL food scene for many years. Their menu is full of quality food and they pride themselves on providing customers with an enjoyable experience.
